Paris Saint-Germain secured their place in the UEFA Champions League next season after defeating Lens 2-1 at Parc des Princes on Sunday. The victory was enough to secure PSG's spot in Group H alongside Manchester City, AC Milan and Red Star Belgrade.
The match was played under the hot sun with both teams playing their hearts out to try and get the win they needed. In the first half, PSG were the better team but it wasn't until the second half that they took control of the game.
In the 67th minute, Neymar scored the opener for PSG before Mauro Icardi doubled their lead two minutes later. However, Lens managed to pull one back through a goal from Benjamin Kone in the 85th minute.
Despite the loss, Lens remain in second place in the Ligue 1 standings despite being deducted points for fielding an ineligible player in their match against Paris Saint-Germain last week.
PSG will now look to continue their winning ways when they take on Monaco in the Coupe de France final on Wednesday.
