TSG Hoffenheim scored two goals to secure a comfortable win over VfL Bochum in their Bundesliga fixture on Sunday.
The home side started brightly and took the lead after just three minutes when Stefan Savić converted from close range following a corner kick. The visitors were unable to respond to this early goal, and TSG continued to dominate possession throughout the first half.
In the second half, TSG doubled their lead with a well-worked team goal. After some good play down the left wing, the ball was played into the box where Julian Kramer met the ball with a header at the back post. The cross was headed across the six-yard box by Max Kruse, who was able to head the ball past the goalkeeper.
VfL Bochum did manage to score a consolation goal late on through a penalty, but it was too little too late for the visitors as TSG held on for a comfortable victory. With the win, TSG now sit in fourth place in the league table, level on points with Borussia Mönchengladbach and four behind leaders Bayern Munich.
Overall, it was another strong performance from TSG Hoffenheim, who showed their dominance over the weaker sides in the league. They will be hoping to continue their good form in their next match against Werder Bremen on Wednesday.
